Our Search for Truth…

Our search for truth can sometimes take us to painful places. In trying to find “the right answer”, we end up dismissing or invalidating other perspectives. This causes conflict and separation as we’ve seen in religion, science, and even spirituality. In believing there is one “correct interpretation”, we deny a part of ourselves and a part of the larger truth.

The reality is that truth isn’s about picking one perspective and rejecting the others. Truth is the totality of all perspectives. Astrology offers a unique way to explore this. By reading our birth charts, we can understand the lens we are perceiving life through, the themes we are exploring, and the way we naturally perceive the world. By exploring the charts of our loved ones, we can understand their lens and perspectives and why they think and act the way they do. I’ve seen the immediate compassion and understanding that arises when we can step into another’s point of view, and how two different perspectives can beautifully and meaningfully work together.

Once we recognize this, we can explore our own perceptions freely, without feeling the need to dismiss or invalidate others. This makes it possible to approach life without judgement, to create without fear of “being wrong”, and to develop true compassion for yourself and others. Each perspective adds something meaningful the whole, and this understanding allows us to live and create more fully.
